About

This comic is a retelling of my experiences as an Elite:Dangerous CMDR in the Twitch commnuity. I started flying in December 2024, and flying out in the black has brought me so many wonderful experiences and incredible friends. I made it both as a love-letter to the game itself, and a way of chronicling my training montage as I hopefully follow in the footsteps of other notorious gankers.

Hilda Terry

The author, Hilda Terry, became the first woman allowed to join the National Cartoonists Society, upon which she lobbied for other women cartoonists to join, such as Mopsy author Gladys Parker.

She also held a firm belief that she was a reincarnation of Dorcas Good, a child imprisoned after being accused of practicing witchcraft in the 1692 Salem witch trials.
